Terms: the Foot Count, the Fascia, and the Rest
How a gutter quote is built, what can move it once the old runs come down, how far the truck drives, and whose work it is. One screen, no small type.
The number is by the foot, and it is measured
A quote arranged here is a written figure built from measured footage: so many feet of 5-inch or 6-inch run at a per-foot rate, downspouts and outlets counted, hangers and fasteners named, fascia repair listed per board where the wood needs it. It is written after someone has walked the roofline rather than guessed from an aerial photo, and it holds. The per-foot ranges on the installation page and the guard ranges on the guards page are the ranges every quote starts from; the measured figure is the price.
What the old gutters can hide
Three things can change a figure between the quote and the finished job, and each is shown to you before the work continues.

Nothing else moves the number. If the day turns up something not on this table, you hear about it and decide before a screw goes in.
Colors, HOAs and new construction
Where a subdivision specifies gutter color or profile, matching it is part of the quote, and any approval the association requires is yours to obtain. On a new build where the builder left the gutters off, the quote assumes the fascia is sound unless the walk-around shows otherwise.
Storm season and the schedule
In the run-up to a named storm, and in the weeks after one, the calendar fills in the order requests arrive, and quotes carry the lead time they were given with. The hurricane preparation page says what to do before a storm; nothing on it is a promise about a date.
How far the truck goes
Wilmington, Leland, Hampstead, Carolina Beach and Castle Hayne. Somewhere else along the Cape Fear coast? Say so in the request and you get a plain yes or no, and never a mileage line turning up later on the invoice.
Whose ladder it is
This site is the front door. The crew that measures your roofline is the crew that forms the coil and hangs the runs, and the workmanship is theirs to stand behind. Before that crew, or any other, leans a ladder against your house, ask them for their certificate of insurance; a crew that expects the question is the crew you want up there.
